To all members
Following a long search for people to serve on the Steering Committee, we have been unsuccessful. It has been particularly disappointing that nobody from the Wavering Lane West area was prepared to join us, given their imminent inclusion in the Local Plan for a 900-house estate on their doorstep, but that may reflect the mood of resignation they might feel about the situation.
We have, accordingly, passed a motion to dissolve the company and I have instructed the accountants accordingly.
Those of us left may still meet informally but the Limited Company will be wound up shortly.
Thanks for your support over the past 4 years and if you are still paying by Standing Order, please discontinue this with immediate effect.
